NOTHING COOKED UP, EVERYTHING COOKED UP [Album]

The album features 12 new songs that include rubies like ‘Stuck Inside of Here’ , ‘Going Back to New York’ or ‘Baby, I Need Some Privacy’. The music on this album keeps blowing like a fresh wind and though digitally recorded the Planeausters complement their usual three-man-band-sound with a variety of unusual sounding electronic vintage instruments including a stylophone organ and a theremin. The album was recorded between April 06 and January 07 at Tank Records Studio.

GOING BACK to NEW YORK [Single-CD]

The single was released on February 20th. In addition to the title track, which was one of the highlights on the tour in 2007, the Single contains the song "I Think The World Is Not Real" and "Red Army Blues", a Waterboys' song. For the first time the Planeausters recorded a cover and after that they earned enthusiastic feedback from the Waterboys' mastermind and singer Mike Scott for their version of the 8 minute song.

Neben dem Titeltrack, der einer der Höhepunkte auf der letzten Tour 2007 gewesen ist, enthält die Single noch zwei weitere Songs: "I Think The World Is Not Real" und "Red Army Blues" von den Waterboys. Zum ersten Mal überhaupt haben die Planeausters ein Cover aufgenommen. Nach einem begeisterten Feedback von Mike Scott/The Waterboys zur Planeausters-Version ist der über 8 Minuten lange Song nun auf der Single zu hören.

EN ROUTE POUR LA GLOIRE [Sampler]

This sampler CD was released in july 2002 by the French Sony Music Dependance "Yelen Records".It contains songs of 7 bands that took part at the famous festival "Eurockéennes de Belfort" in France. The CD also contains the song "Heroine" by the Planeausters. They played the Eurockéenes in 2002 among bands like the Chemical Brothers, Muse, Travis and the (International) Noise Conspiracy. 80 000 attended the three-day festival.
